Müllerstrasse – Living in a Renovated Historic Building
With the completion of the property on Müllerstrasse in Zurich’s District 4, a distinctive project has successfully come to an end. After an intensive renovation phase, all six apartments have been rented. This result not only highlights the success of the project, but also the continued strong demand for high-quality housing in a central location.
The conversion of former office space into modern, bright living areas exemplifies how inner-city transformations can make a valuable contribution to sustainable urban development. Through targeted refurbishment and a respectful approach to the existing building fabric, a property has emerged that preserves its original character while meeting contemporary living standards.
The project impresses with its homely choice of materials and careful architectural execution. The newly created 1.5- to 3.5-room apartments offer a diverse mix of living options for different lifestyles. With their calm, natural design and thoughtful floor plans, they combine the charm of a historic building with modern living quality. The result is a piece of urban living culture in the heart of Zurich.
The reuse of components from other projects underscores the resource-conscious approach that characterises the entire undertaking. In this way, Müllerstrasse stands not only for architectural quality but also for a mindful and responsible use of existing structures and materials.
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone involved—especially Elmiger Architekten—for their dedicated collaboration and the shared goal of transforming vacant spaces into new, livable environments.
