Building approval for \u201cTiny Homes\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

On 7 March 2022, the building department of the municipality of Zollikon issued the building permit for the “Tiny Homes” project at Forchstrasse 100 in Zollikerberg. The construction work has already started with the demolition of the existing buildings and will take about two years. The four new buildings comprising a total of 39 apartments are scheduled to be handed over to the tenants in spring 2024.<\/p>\n

The new-build project by\u00a0Steib Gm\u00fcr Geschwentner Kyburz Partner AG<\/a>\u00a0was chosen as the winning entry in an architectural competition held in 2019 and, despite intensive further development, remained close to the original concept. The compact rental units are based on the features of an owner-occupied home and have private outdoor spaces and individual entrances.<\/p>\n

The initial letting will be organised by Walde Immobilien AG as of spring 2023.
