Where people used to work, they will soon live – start of letting in Zurich’s Kreis 4 district
What happens when old commercial premises are given a second life? In the heart of Zurich’s lively Kreis 4 district, just a few steps away from Stauffacher, we have done just that: vacant spaces have been transformed into new living space with great care and planning sensitivity – ready for first occupancy on 1 September 2025.
Six charming rental flats have been created in a carefully renovated old building, combining the flair of an old building with modern requirements. The project is an example of sustainable urban development:
- Existing substance was preserved and upgraded
- Components from another property in the portfolio were repurposed in the spirit of re-use
This not only creates living space, but also identity – in a neighbourhood that thrives on change.
The flats – from smart 1.5-room flats to spacious 3.5-room flats – offer space for a variety of lifestyles. Well thought-out floor plans, high-quality materials and a central location make them particularly attractive for singles, couples and young families who appreciate urban living.
We are proud to be making a small but effective contribution to the development of residential space in the city of Zurich with this project – and would like to thank the planning team at Elmiger Architekten for their dedicated collaboration.
The application phase starts immediately.
